Good news for Ousmane Dembele... and for Barcelona

Ousmane Dembele returned to training on Saturday

Sunday marks three weeks since he was injured at Anoeta

Ousmane Dembele was back in training on Saturday as Barcelona trained at the Ciudad Deportiva in Sant Joan Despí before the derby against Espanyol.

Dembele has not played since the win at Anoeta, which was three weeks ago on Sunday. After that match he was ruled out for three to four weeks with a hamstring injury.

The France forward will not be ready for the Catalan derby this weekend, but Barça will keep an eye on him with games coming up against Valencia (Copa del Rey) and Getafe and Eibar (both La Liga).

Ernesto Valverde's side will then travel to London to face Chelsea in the Champions League (Feb. 20).

In Saturday's training session, Andre Gomes was also back from a stomach bug and Carles Aleñá and goalkeeper Carevic also took part.
