Good humour and laughs in Barça's last training session of 2016
The players are back to work with matches against Athletic and Villarreal looming next week
The Barcelona first team squad closed 2016 with an early training session on the Tito Vilanova pitch at the Ciudad Deportiva de Joan Gamper in Sant Joan Despi on Saturday.
There was a good atmosphere and plenty of laughs, with Andres Iniesta and Arda Turan at the centre of the fun.
Luis Enrique had all his players available, with the only absentees Javier Mascherano and the three members of the MSN (Messi, Suarez and Neymar), who will return on Jan. 2.
Barça have two games next week. On Jan. 5 they travel to San Mames for their Copa del Rey game against Athletic Club (21.15h) and on Jan. 8 they travel to Villarreal in La Liga (20.45h).
In theory, Luis Enrique will have everyone available with the exception of Jasper Cillessen, who returned injured from his Christmas break. Jeremy Mathieu's not been cleared to return yet, but is training with the group.
