Goncalo Guedes pushing to arrive for Barca vs Valencia
The Portuguese winger would love to play against the Catalans at the Mestalla
Valencia face Barcelona on Thursday at Mestalla and winger Goncalo Guedes is doing everything possible to be fit for coach Marcelino Garcia Toral to select.
The winger hurt himself during the 4-1 defeat by Real Madrid on January 27. He hurt his hamstring and his absence would be a problem for Los Che.
However Guedes trained with the group on Monday, seemingly without problems.
For Valencia this semi-final is a final, and Guedes will force the issue. However he is an explosive player and at particular risk of suffering a relapse if he's not 100 per cent.
Another thing is Marcelino's desire to keep Valencia in the top four to reach the Champions League. They are currently third and Guedes getting injured might harm that.
