Barcelona are interested in Athletic Club goalkeeper Alex Remiro, who has not renewed his contract with the Basque club, according to Goal.
Barça are looking for a possible replacement for Jasper Cillessen, if he finally decides to leave the club. According to the information, Barça have asked about the Remiro, who'se not been able to break into Athletic's team after an injury to Iago Herrerin and the departure of Kepa to Chelsea.
Remiro, the report adds, is out of contract in the summer and has so far refused to sign new terms, which has seen him left in the stands by Athletic. A regular with Huesca, where he was on lona, he's not had the minutes he's wanted with Athletic to the point that his relationship with the club has cooled, provoking interest from other clubs, among them Barça.
Barcelona, always according to Goal, have him in mind if Cillessen leaves. The Dutch goalkeeper, back up to Marc-Andre ter Stegen, would like more minutes.
