Reports in Germany suggest Barça are among the club tracking the France international

Borussia Monchengladbach striker has enjoyed a good start to the season, scoring three goals and setting up five more to go with the 14 goals and nine assists he managed last season.

Valued at around 32 million euros, reports in Germany claim the France international is drawing the attention of Europe's biggest clubs.

Bild claim that Barcelona, along with Real Madrid, AC Milan, Juventus and various Premier League sides, are tracking Thuram, whose father, Lilian, played for Juve and Barça as a player.

Former Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger compared Thuram with Thierry Henry recently: "Henry has the 'timing' of the most intelligent players and was also very strong physically. Technically he could link with the player, he could dribble past defenders... In fact, there is a player in the Bundesliga who reminds me of him: Marcu Thuram."

Thuram is not an out and out No.9 and has also played on the wing many times, as Henry did in his career. Thuram scored twice in Gladbach's 2-2 draw with Real Madrid in the Champions League recently.
