The Barcelona defender showed his solidarity with the family of the young fan

The death of Bradley Lowery, a young Sunderland fan, provoked a big reaction across football, especially among Premier League players and clubs. There have been a lot of shows of solidarity and condolences for the death of the youngster, a friend of Jermaine Defoe.
A death, caused by cancer, which has broken down frontiers, with even players in La Liga offering their well wishes and support. Barcelona’s Gerard Pique was one such star, reposting Sunderland’s message which said “The thoughts of all at #SAFC are wit the Lowery family following this afternoon’s sad news.”
