The defender said that everything is difficult at Camp Nou

Gerard Pique spoke reluctantly in the mixed zone after Barcelona's 1-0 Copa del Rey defeat by Espanyol in the first leg of the quarter final. He was not impressed by the chants in the stands aimed at him and his partner, Shakira.

"I'm not the one who should rail against that issue. We know already playing Espanyol at Cornella is difficult. I hope that all that does not happen at Camp Nou, nobody should be insulted and things should not be thrown onto the pitch."

On the game Pique added: "When you lose you always look for explanations, but the team competed well. The missed penalty was something that can happen and the truth is that the game did not go how we want, but if I had to choose a defeat, I'd choose this."
