Georginio Wijnaldum has given the 'yes' to PSG
The Dutch midfielder is heading to Paris and not the Catalan capital
Georginio Wijnaldum is moving closer to PSG. Journalist Fabrizio Romano has given details of a negotiation which is now in the home straight. Last night the player, wanted by Barcelona, said yes to the Parisian club, who are paying double the salary that Barcelona want and are offering him a contract until 2024.
The player, who ha a firm proposal from Barca, can’t turn down the extra money being offered and coach Mauricio Pochettino has phoned him several times to try and convince him.
According to the report the Argentine has been key in luring Wijnaldum to the French capital.
Romano says the player will take his medical with PSG in the coming hours after having decided his future on Saturday night. Barca are not changing their offer because of their economic situation.
