Roma's director of football, Monchi, has spoken to the French midfielder's representatives to find out more about his situation at PSG

Roma are the latest team to join the queue of clubs interested in PSG's Adrien Rabiot. Monchi, who is the Italian side's director of football, has spoken to the player's representatives according to a report by 'Gazzetta dello Sport'. However their interest in Rabiot isn't new. Four years ago Roma were on the verge of signing him before negotiations broke down.

That previous interest came when Rudi Garcia was in charge of the Italian club. Rabiot was ready to join Roma and the deal was practically closed but it fell through at the last minute. It's believed a disagreement between Roma and the player's agents was the reason behind that. "With Roma everything was done. It was my choice, I had decided to wear Roma's shirt. To be honest, I don't know why the deal fell through," Rabiot told Canal+.

Now it appears Roma are back in for him. Monchi knows they might have arrived too late to the table after Juventus, Tottenham and Barça have already presented offers to the player.
