Gazzetta: Inter coach Conte will wait for Barcelona midfielder Arturo Vidal

The Italian coach is desperate to bring in the Chilean international

Inter Milan coach Antonio Conte expects Barcelona midfielder Arturo Vidal to join him at the San Siro this month. According to 'Gazzetta delo Sport', the former Italy boss is counting on Vidal's arrival during the winter transfer window.

Despite the information coming from Barcelona, where coach Ernesto Valverde remains firm on his intention to keep hold of Vidal, in Italy they insist that Inter will keep pressing to make a deal.

Inter have already offered 12 million euros, but Barça want 20m. For that reason, it could fall on the player and his agents to help find an agreement between the two clubs. Vidal's first move was to claim that Barça owe him money in unpaid bonuses.

However, Inter have also been linked with Tottenham midfielder Christian Eriksen, who is out of contract in the summer. Therefore, Jose Mourinho's side would likely be willing to accept a cut-price bid in January.
