Gavi: Xavi tells us we have to keep a clean sheet
The midfielder said the key is making sure the team don’t concede
Gavi spoke after Barcelona’s 1-0 win at Girona on Saturday, which he called ‘very important’.
The midfielder explained that Xavi "tells us that we have to keep a clean sheet and that the goals will come, and this is what we do", after another game from Ter Stegen without conceding. Regarding his performance, he simply pointed out that "I try to give my best for the team and do everything the coach asks of me."
And finally he was full of praise for his friend and teammate Pedri, adding: "He is a great player, everyone knows it, and I am very happy with his goal."
