The Andalusian will play his first minutes of the pre-season, while the Frenchman is waiting for his move to PSG to be finalised

FC Barcelona will wrap up the pre-season tonight with the Joan Gamper Trophy tie against Tottenham Hotspurs, who arrive in Barcelona shrouded by the Harry Kane controversy as the owners have put on hold negotiations with Bayern Munich.

On Barça's end, the focus is on Ousmane Dembélé, who has asked to be transferred to PSG for the stipulated 50 million euros clause. The transfer, however, has not yet been completed and Dembélé remains a Barça player. He will not play against Tottenham and is unlikely to take part in the presentation of the squad to the fans.

Yesterday, he did train at the Estadi Olímpic with his teammates.

Gavi will feature on the pitch for the first time this pre-season. The young Andalusian midfielder had to sit out all of the three games that Xavi's men played in the United States due to back problems. He has now completed his recovery. The coach from Terrassa highlighted in Las Vegas Gavi's importance, notwithstanding the arrival of Gündogan.

Gavi will make his season debut, Dembélé will not be involved and Xavi will be cautious with Gündogan and Christensen, the two players who ended the Dallas derby against Real Madrid with injuries.

The German international looks to have made a full recovery and could feature against Tottenham, but the Egara coach will not take any risks with the Dane with an eye on Sunday's league opener against Pepe Bordalás' Getafe.
