Gavi reveals his mum's pre-match advice: 'Don't get into any fights'

Barcelona midfielder Gavi will be one of the protagonists of this Saturday's clásico at the Estadi Lluís Companys. The player was interviewed by DAZN ahead of the game against Real Madrid and revealed some interesting facts, such as the advice his mother gives him before matches.

The Andalusian, always very sincere, explained that "my mum doesn't even watch the matches anymore, the truth is that she gets scared a lot. She always says to me before going to the match: 'Be careful, don't get into any fights.' I always try to calm her down and keep her as calm as possible."

As for the match, Gavi praised Bellingham and Tchouaméni. Of the Englishman, he said that he already knew him from his time at Borussia Dortmund and that "he is showing his level at Madrid, but of course, there are many other very complete players and you don't have to look at one player, but at the whole team."

He also wanted to comment on another player he will face in midfield: "I like Tchouaméni quite a lot as a player. I think he is top."
