Galatasaray are looking for a sponsor to help sign Arda Turan

Galatasaray have taken a step forward in their bid to sign Barcelona's Arda Turan in the winter market. According to local media Fanatik, the club ruled by Dursun Ozbek are looking for a sponsor to help pay for the high salary of the player, which is the main handicap of the deal.
With the conversations between the clubs at an advanced level, Galatasaray need to make the deal make sense economically. Arda has one of the highest salaries in the Barcelona squad.
The midfielder gets around 8m euros a year, which Galatasaray would need to pay if they loan or sign him, as well as adding an extra million euros in the form of bonus.
In this sense Gala are negotiating with a Turkish company NEF, to try and get economic sponsorship for the deal. They are already a regional partner of the club in Turkey, an alliance which could be key to the success of the deal.
