The Dutchman says he's happy at Barca and does not regret moving

Barcelona midfielder Frenkie de Jong spoke to the media Tuesday ahead of his team’s Champions League clash with Borussia Dortmund.

The Dutchman says the team is not playing quite as badly as some say they are and he has no regrets about joining.

“We have an amazing team, most of the best players in the world,” said De Jong.

“We know we can perform way better. We are first in the league and the Champions League, so it’s not that we are doing really bad, but we can do better.

“No I don't regret signing for Barcelona, I am really happy to be here. It's everything I every dreamed of. Of course we can play a bit better.

“We are working really hard to improve our game. Hopefully everyone can see tomorrow that we are improving.”

De Jong didn’t know when he arrived if he would become an instant starter, but he has.

“I am really happy to be playing a lot of games and a lot of minutes,” said the former Ajax man. “I like it like this, hope it goes on like this, playing a lot of matches and minutes. I feel really good and don't need any rest.”
