The midfielder says he is focused on Ajax and doing well this season

The story in De Telegraaf about Frenkie de Jong moving to PSG for 75m euros has been denied, firstly by the player's agent and now by the midfielder himself.

"The only thing I can and will say is that there is still no agreement," said De Jong, a Barcelona target.

"No official decision has been taken and while there is no transfer, my main focus is on Ajax. There are five games to go until the winter break, I only want to think about the game against PEC this weekend and the next Champions League match against Bayern Munich.

"I can't be worried about saying 'I'm going here or there'. That wouldn't show any respect on my part for Ajax or my team-mates."

On praise for him from PSG forward Kylian Mbappe, he said: "It makes me happy to hear what Mbappe said about me."

The Frenchman said that his quality passes that break lines make him a very useful player.
