Frenkie de Jong has successfully passed his medical this morning
Everything has gone smoothly so far and the midfielder will be presented to the media - and fans - at the Camp Nou this afternoon
The day Frenkie de Jong has been dreaming about for months now is underway. The Dutch midfielder, who will be presented to the media and supporters at the Camp Nou this afternoon, travelled to the Hospital de Barcelona this morning for the first part of his medical.
De Jong arrived at the hospital at 8:30 am accompanied by Barça security. Ricard Pruna is the doctor who oversaw all the medical tests.
The midfielder is now free until the afternoon. At 6:00 pm, Frenkie will sign his new contract and at 7:00 pm he'll have his first photoshoot of the day. Afterwards, he'll step out onto the Camp Nou pitch and be presented to the supporters at 8:00 pm.
Once the presentation has finished, de Jong will hold his first press conference as a Barça player.
