The former Barcelona coach and his son turned up at the session
They took photos with players including Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez
FC Barcelona's players had a special visit on Sunday morning at the Joan Gamper sports centre. The former coach Frank Rijkaard and his small son turned up to watch the training session and greet some of the team's stars.
The day to day of the club has changed a lot since the Dutchman left the bench after the 2007-08 season. In fact, the sports centre was not even there back then and only Andres Iniesta and Lionel Messi of the current squad were there in the first team.
Despite years passing, Rijkaard is remembered fondly. After all, he led the team to the 2006 Champions League in Paris and gave Messi his debut, among others.
