Fran Gonzalez's advice to son and Barça midfielder Nico
The talented youngster's dad was a famous player in his own right
Fran Gonzalez, the former Deportivo de la Coruna player, spoke to AS and was asked about his son Nico.
“Being in a hurry is not good, I’m one of those who believe you have to mature without pressure and demand. Getting things piece by piece, you value it much more. When you have everything done at once you can believe you have got it all,” he said after being asked if Nico could get into the Spain squad with Luis Enrique.
On Nico he added: “I can say little about my boy, better he talks, he’s old enough to.”
Nico recently signed on with Jorge Mendes as his agent, leaving Pere Guardiola’s agency.
