The Frenchman could reappear in August for the Champions League
It's been four months since Ousmane Dembele was operated on. The forward's career at Barcelona has been marked by injuries. He cost 105m + 40m in variables, but has not become the player the club hoped he would.
He's been out for months because of his hamstring injury in February, operated on in Finland by Lasse Lempainen's team on Feb 11.
He can't play in La Liga because he was unregistered but he has some hopes of getting back into action by August, where he can feature in the Champions League for Barca if fit.
"Dembele is progressing as expected, and I'm sure he'll back at a higher level after six months from the operation," said the doctor.
His future could change drastically depending on if he gets back in time to play in the UCL and if he impresses.
