Forward Memphis Depay will be presented at Barça after some time off
Memphis' summer can start now after the Netherlands exited Euro 2020
Few would have expected the Netherlands to fall in the first knockout round at Euro 2020. The Dutch side lost in the last 16 against Czech Republic and that means that Barcelona duo Frenkie de Jong and Memphis Depay are now on holiday.
Memphis will now have some time off and upon his return will be presented as a Barcelona player officially after agreeing a two-year deal earlier this month.
The forward, who will join for free as his deal with Lyon is expiring, has not been presented yet due to his involvement in Euro 2020 with his national team.
According to RAC1, Barça have no plans to present him this week and everything will be carried out after his holiday. He will have a few days to disconnect after a draining season.
He will then join up with his new team later in the summer, where he will be reunited with Ronald Koeman, who he previously played under with the Dutch national team.
