Semedo, André Gomes, Digne, Umtiti and Dembélé are off to Russia

But Cillessen's Holland team couldn't get the result they needed vs. Sweden

France have booked their place at next summer's World Cup. Didier Deschamps' side beat Belarus on Tuesday to seal top spot in their group, with two Barcelona players starting the game: Samuel Umtiti and Lucas Digne. They would have qualified without a win, too, given Sweden lost to Holland. Elswhere, Greece joined Sweden in the playoffs with a win against Gibraltar.

After dropping points during the last international break, France weren't certain of their place in Russia going into their final game. However, they came through the challenge without any problems thanks to goals from Griezmann and Giroud. As a result, three more Barça players booked their place in next summer's tournament: Umtiti, Digne and the injured Ousmane Dembele.

Meanwhile, Portugal beat Switzerland to guarantee their place in Russia. Switzerland will play in the playoffs. Andre Gomes and Nelson Semedo, two more Barça players, will therefore be in Russia as well.
