First contact between Barcelona and Roberto Martinez
The Catalans have made contact with the former Everton boss according to Goal
Barcelona and Roberto Martinez, the Belgium coach, have spoken. Per Goal, they are not negotiating but there has been contact. Martinez has advised the Belgian football federation that there is a big chance that he leaves his current role.

Various names have been linked with replacing Koeman and Xavi Hernandez and Roberto Martinez are the preferred duo.
The latter has a contract until Qatar 2022 but if he comes it will be after the Nations League matches from October 7-10, the final four featuring Spain, Italy, France and Belgium.
