The former Barcelona and Madrid player dispelled rumours
Luis Figo has dispelled the urban myth that he had a romantic relationship with former Barcelona manager Pep Guardiola when they played at the Catalan club.
“Guardiola was a great friend and helped me a lot. he was my room-mate but there was nothing (between us), I like women,” said Figo in an interview with the magazine Icon.
On the famous pig's head incident, Figo added: "I love pigs head. I don't see many of the pictures because I'm not somene who relives the past. I didn't mind those days at all, the people think I did, but it wasn't so. It was an experience to mature me. Some like to talk about that game and mythify it, but for me it was just another day."
