Ferran Torres: Frankfurt's pitch was not in the best condition
The Barcelona forward was not impressed with the playing surface on Thursday
Ferran Torres scored the equaliser as Barcelona drew 1-1 in the first leg of their Europa League quarterfinal with Eintracht Frankfurt on Thursday.
Frankfurt had taken the lead earlier in the second half through Ansgar Knauff but Ferran's goal ensures the teams will be level going into the second leg at Camp Nou next week.
"We were able to come back against a tough opponent, so it's important to have got the equaliser," Ferran told Movistar. "Now we play at home."
On the pitch, he complained: "When we arrived, we saw it was not in the best condition. It's not an excuse, though, because we're players with a lot of quality."
On his goal, he added: "It was a good one. We had patience."
