February set to be a brutal month for treble chasing Barcelona

After a January packed with games, the bad news for Barça is things aren't about to get any easier

Barcelona are facing a demanding month in February. After the Copa del Rey semi-final draw paired them with Atletico Madrid, a tough and physical rival, Luis Enrique's side will do well to end the month in good shape.

The month will start with a difficult trip to the capital for the first leg of the King's Cup tie against Diego Simeone's Atletico at the Vicente Calderon.

Athletic Club are then due at Camp Nou for a difficult league game, with the second leg against Atletico following immediately after at Camp Nou.

Barça will then have a few days to prepare for their La Liga visit to Alaves, who won 2-1 at Camp Nou when the sides met earlier in the season in the league.

Things don't get any easier with Paris Saint-Germain next on Barça's agenda. They travel to the French capital on Feb. 14.

Then it's Leganes in the league, which is followed by the only free midweek in February. Luis Enrique, therefore, is likely to give his players two days off.

He will hope that benefits them going into the month's third game against Atletico, this time in the league at the Vicente Calderon.
