The Spanish side have put a price tag of 5 million euros on their young centre back

Òscar Mingueza is one of the five players that Xavi Hernández has left out of the United States preseason tour. The player has accepted the decision and does not want to be a burden to the club, but his sale could be hindered by the club's own pretensions.

Several clubs have knocked on his door, but they find Barça's valuation of the defender to be quite steep considering that they can negotiate for a free transfer from January '23.

Mingueza is receptive to offers from Spain, Italy and Germany. He intends to continue playing and not stay a whole year in the stands or on the bench. His predisposition is good, but the club will also have to be ready to negotiate.

Its still early days in the summer window and it is expected that Barça will lower their demands until an agreement is reached. Mingueza can then continue his professional career in another club, a scenario benefiting all the involved entities.
