FC Barcelona have registered all their new signings in LaLiga, except Koundé
LaLiga has just confirmed that Kessie, Christensen, Lewandowski, Raphinha, Dembélé and Sergi Roberto can play tomorrow against Rayo.
Xavi Hernandez will have most of his new signings available for Saturday's season opener against Rayo Vallecano. FC Barcelona were awaiting authorisation from La Liga to register the signed players, and have now done so after activating the fourth lever.
Almost all the signings, plus the renewed Dembélé and Sergi Roberto, will be able to play in Barça's first match, and LaLiga have published on its website that the players have been successfully registered. Even so, FC Barcelona have some work left, as they still have one more player to register.
Koundé is still waiting to find out if he will be available for the game against Rayo tomorrow. FC Barcelona are working against the clock to register their last signing before the game, and have until tomorrow to achieve this. The reduction of salaries of some of their old guard is the most likely solution.
Xavi Hernández told a press conference that he was optimistic that the registrations will happen in time. "In this regard, we are working hard. Presently, we are very positive. The club has been working on the fourth lever and I think we will make it," he said. His hopes have been answered, and Barça should have a full-strength squad for their first match.
