Six of the last eight seasons have seen record income for Barça but they only made a €4.5m profit after tax for the 2018/19 season

The board of directors at FC Barcelona have closed the accounts for the 2018/19 season. The final result is that once again it's produced a record amount of income for the club. Barça brought in €990m last season, whilst spending €973m.

That leaves a positive margin of €17m and gives a net profit of €4.5m after tax.

This means Barça have posted a profit for eight consecutive seasons, totalling €192m, and broken their income record in each of the last six.

STRATEGIC PLAN

The board of directors are happy with the overall balance of the club which falls in line with their strategic plan of reaching €1,000m income by 2021.

As is traditionally the case, the club will present their accounts for last season as well as the new budget for the 2019/20 season before the next board meeting.
