Colombia beat Argentina in the Copa America at the weekend

Radamel Falcao's Colombia beat Lionel Messi's Argentina at the weekend as the Albiceleste's Copa America campaign got off to a losing start.

Messi, once again, has been criticised following the 2-0 loss in Brazil but Falcao has come out in support of the Barcelona forward.

"It's the price you pay for being the best in the world," the striker said to Ole. "If you score one goal, they ask for two. If it's a goal from a free kick, they say the wall didn't do its job. If Argentina lose, it's all his fault."

After a round-of-16 exit at the World Cup last summer, Argentina fans are more impatient than ever. Going home from Russia early was a huge disappointment and Messi was singled out for blame.

This summer's Copa America presents another opportunity for the country but the loss to Colombia has brought the impatience to the surface.

The press don't help and Diego Maradona has also criticised the team, but luckily for the players they have two more games to turn things around: against Paraguay on Wednesday and then Qatar on Sunday.
