Dembele's future is in the spotlight after he was late for training again

Former Barcelona midfielder Andres Iniesta spoke about Ousmane Dembele's situation at the club after the France forward was late again for training on Sunday.

"There's no need to kill Dembele," Iniesta said. "You'd have to kill him if there was no other remedy, but that's not the case. You have to solve it more than kill him."

Iniesta added: "I don't know the case to talk too much about it, but you have to find a more constructive solution. If that's not possible, something else.

"It's not irreparable. In the dressing room there are rules and measures will be taken, they will do what's best for the team."

On Riqui Puig, he said: "He has huge potential, but Valverde does what he thinks the best and he must choose... everything happens in its moment."
