The Barca coach spoke ahead of Saturday's clash with Villarreal

Barca coach Ernesto Valverde says he wants to take the team back top of the table by beating Villarreal on Sunday in La Liga.

"I would have to think about what worries me the most," Valverde said. ”But what interests me the most is getting back to the top of the table because we've been leaders every week, bar two."

On criticism: “There will always be criticism, there is nothing new about that, but what worries me is winning at Villarreal.”

Worries: "If I have to worry about something, it's because of the game the next day and to recover the injured players, and to come out alive from today's press conference.”

Denis Suarez:  "It's not easy, and it's true that if Denis came in to play, another player would be in that situation, when you have an opportunity you have to be prepared to take it.”

Alena and Samper: "They have been coming into the squad regularly, especially Aleñá, but they have to wait for their moment and opportunity. In the midfield there is a lot of competition, with Arturo Vidal and Arthur, and it's something they have to fight against because Barça always has the best players.”

400 games in the top flight: "I did not know that it was such a round number, but for me it's similar to 399. It's supposed to be a lot of games, right? When you're coaching you do not count the games you have played, I guess it's a big round number, and that means that I am closer to the end than to the beginning.”
