The defender was almost at a loss for words after the draw with Inter
Eric Garcia said Barcelona made mistakes they cannot make as they drew 3-3 with Inter Milan in the Champions League on Tuesday.
The draw leaves Barça on the cusp of elimination from the competition. Inter need just three points from their final two games against Viktoria Plzen and Bayern Munich to make the last 16.
Barça had led at the break through Ousmane Dembele but a crazy second half followed, with Bayern leadining 2-1 and 3-2 before the game ended level.
"The first half went as we wanted, pressing high, creating chances," Garcia said. "We needed to win. We got the goal just before the break.
"We knew we had to go for more. There was a lack of control in those first minutes (after the break), the risk of playing with three at the back, and those 15 minutes killed us.
"We made mistakes that you cannot make at this level. We got the draw in the end, we're still not out, but we know it's complicated. We have to keep going as long as we have hope.
"I don't know how to explain it. I don't know what to say. The first half was as we wanted, but we know that when there is no control, we suffer. Our game is based on covering well."
