Elche did what seemed impossible or them. They had to scored a goal at the Camp Nou since 1978, but got two in their 3-2 defeat by Barcelona.
Tete Morente and Pere Milla got them against Xavi Hernandez’s team in a thrilling encounter.
Trobbiani had netted the last one over 30 years ago. But Morente lashed past Ter Stegen and Pere Miller headed home from close range to get a pair of historic goals.
Elche had gone over 20 hours of play without netting against the Catalans.
