On Friday, the fifth day of preseason for the 2019/20 season, Ernesto Valverde called up eight B team players to train with Barcelona's first team.

There weree eight B team players called up: Riqui Puig, Araujo, Guillem, Oriol Busquets, Collado, Monchu, Carles Pérez and Iñaki Peña. Several of them could travel to Japan.
Once back from Asia, Barça face Arsenal in the Joan Gamper at Camp Nou before heading to the United States to play Napoli twice.
