The former Barcelona player thinks his compatriot has more to give

José Edmilson, the former Barcelona player and current FCBarcelona foundation ambassador spoke about Coutinho to beIN Sports at half-time in Barca-Alaves.

The Brazilian think his compatriot will improve, and that he wasn't off his game because of his position on the right. "He plays there for Brazil sometimes, with Neymar on the left, Gabriel Jesus in the middle and him on the right. He does well there with Titi and his style of play adapts very well."

"I think he's a player with great technical quality and can adapt very quickly but he needs more match rhythm. He will improve," added Edmilson. "He knew since the start of the summer (that he wanted to come), he knows the idea and the system Barca play."

On Yerry Mina he added: "In the last two seasons with Palmeiras he came out a lot, he joined in well with the attack. He has great quality, he's young and could be a great Barca centre-back."
