Double exam in Valencia: Rodrigo and Setien under the microscope

Valencia v Barcelona never lacks interest but there are two extra nuggets ahead of today's clash at Mestalla. Quique Setien is facing his first test of fire as Barcelona coach.

Rodrigo isn't having his best goalscoring season, but Barcelona are interested in him for his versatility, his ability yo play wider. The Spain international's move might be difficult to resolve on an economic level though.
Valencia don't want him to leave for over 60 million euros and Barcelona can't pay that up front. They might opt for a loan with an option to buy at the end of the season. Valencia want that to be obligatory.
If he does go, Valencia have a Plan B - resign former Barcelona striker Paco Alcacer, at Dortmund.
