Donny van de Beek switches agent and could be a Barça option

The Dutch midfielder has been shunned at Old Trafford by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer

Donny van de Beek shone at Ajax a couple of years ago with Frenkie de Jong and De Ligt, but after moving to Man United he was frozen out.

The Red Devils paid 39m euros for him but Solskjaer seems to have no interest in using him.

Van de Beek is fed up of the Norwegian coach and waiting around for chances so he wants to head elsewhere. He has signed for a new agent, Ali Dursun, who is Frenkie de Jong’s.

Barca have always paid attention to Van de Beek’s movements and he’s almost certain to leave in January.

Barcelona may be able to benefit from his presence in attacking areas. At Ajax he got 41 goals and 34 assists in 175 games.

Given Barcelona’s finances he would have to come on loan with an option to buy in the future.

Van de Beek is 24, like De Jong, and could still have a future ahead of him if he gets minutes.
