DJ Griezmann, a protagonist at Pedri's 18th birthday 'party'
The Frenchman took the initiative on the bus on the way to Kiev's airport after the game
Tuesday night was a good one for Pedri Gonzalez. The teenager started in the 4-0 win over Dinamo Kiev, and a few minutes after the game ended he was able to celebrate his 18th birthday. The match was over at 23.45 local time and after midnight Barcelona were heading on the bus to the airport.
It was in this moment that Antoine Griezmann became an improvised DJ, on a night with a good atmosphere for Barca after their big win. He took control of the music and surprised everyone by playing happy birthday at full volume for Pedri, who appreciated the gesture.
Pedri was able to celebrate at home on Wednesday, with a visit from his parents who miss him. They ate at home and opened presents. He was emotional to get a gift from his grandmother Candelaria, who did not travel.
The Tegueste Barcelona fan club also gave him a book on how to put together good barbeques. Now he's got no excuse, he'll have to try and cook something for his brother Fernando, whom he shares a place with. He also got a video from various legends at Barca, wishing him a happy birthday.
