Deulofeu and Sturridge, Monchi's options to reinforce Roma
Edin Dzeko seems set to leave for Chelsea and Roma need to strengthen
Roma are interested in Gerard Deulofeu. Monchi, the sporting director, has spoken to the Barcelona winger according to Corriere dello Sport. Monchi wants to bolster the attack, with Edin Dzeko linked to a move away, and has two options on the table. Deulofeu and Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge.
Deulofeu is looking for a Barcelona exit because he has had limited playing time under Ernesto Valverde. Barcelona have had various offers for him but for one reason or another have not sealed the deal.
Information from Italy suggests Roma are willing to pay 15m euros for Deulofeu. However the coach prefers the idea of signing Sturridge.
Napoli, Inter Miland and AC Milan are also interested in Deulofeu.
