Dest "has no intention of changing clubs" claims Reschke
The American right back does not want to leave Camp Nou this summer
Michael Reschke, who works in Germany for the company that represents Sergino Dest, denied the possibility that the defender would leave for Bayern Munich at the end of the season. “He has no intention of changing clubs,” he told BILD.
The former Bayern sporting director recognised that they are working on improving their squad but added: “I am quite sceptical about a possible move to Bayern this summer.”
The defender has a deal until June 2025, with reports suggesting he might leave because Xavi doesn’t trust him and he has some sale value. Bayern had previously been interested in signing him.
Xavi has brought in Dani Alves and handed him two starts. Since the Brazilian left for the first time, Semedo, Sergi Roberto, Douglas, Mingueza, Emerson and Dest have played there without much success.
