Despite the international break, there's still plenty of stars training at Barça
Messi, Piqué and Umtiti were all involved in the session undertaken by Valverde as well as six members from the youth side
The first team players at FC Barcelona who aren't involved with their national teams this week returned to the Ciudad Deportiva Joan Gamper de Sant Joan Despí to train under Ernesto Valverde today.
There was also space for six players from Barça B: Jokin Ezkieta, Iñaki Peña, Chumi, Oriol Busquets, Collado and Riqui Puig.
And despite it being an international break there were still a few stars around the training pitch. Leo Messi, Gerard Piqué and Samuel Umtiti all took part.
Ernesto Valverde will hold another session on Thursday 15th November at 11:00 local time. For Pique, the upcoming break will allow him to rest after being needed for every game during the team's defensive injury crisis. For Umtiti and Messi, the pair will continue to work on getting back up to full fitness after recent spells on the sidelines.
FC Barcelona don't return to competitive action until the 24th November when they come up against Atletico Madrid at the Wanda Metropolitano.
