He prefers Barça over Madrid as he doesn't want to share Mbappe's limelight

Erling Haaland is coveted by most of Europe's biggest clubs. The Borussia Dortmund striker is likely to be on the move next summer and, according to information from Deportes Cuatro, he wants to play for Fútbol Club Barcelona.

The Norway international is seduced by the idea of playing in Spain, a country that he loves, and he would rather sign for Barça than for Real Madrid.

According to the cited information, Haaland does not want to go to Real Madrid because he's not keen on sharing a team and the limelight with Kylian Mbappe, who is expected to join Los Blancos when his Paris Saint-Germain contract expires in the summer.

Haaland and Mbappe are the heirs to the throne of the Lionel Messi-Cristiano Ronaldo dynasty and for that reason they would not want to unite in the same team.

If both came to LaLiga Santander, all the lights would be on them to see who wins the ‘war’ between Barça and Madrid, one of the most followed duels in the world.

Both are aware of the repercussion that these teams have and, for that reason, they would welcome continuing their sports career in Spain.
