Denis Zakaria's future looks set to be away from Borussia Mönchengladbach. The midfielder's out of contract at the end of the season and Barcelona are among the teams linked with him.
The Swiss international responds to the midfield profile Barça are looking to add to their squad and hopes to be able to make the move to Camp Nou in the summer of 2022.
Zakaria has already rejected an offer from Roma and a renewal offer from Mönchengladbach. Juventus are also tracking the situation, but the former Servette youngster hopes Barça will make a move.
The Catalan club are scouting the market for free agents next summer after bringing in Sergio 'Kun' Agüero, Eric Garcia and Memphis Depay for nothing earlier this year.
Zakaria had offers to move in the summer but decided to stay at Mönchengladbach, who he signed for in 2017.
He recently changed agents and is now represented by family members, which could be part of his strategy to leave Germany at the end of his current contract.
