Denis Suarez thinks Barça's second string have stepped up this season
The midfielder set up both the goals against Sporting
Paco Alcacer was also in good form in the win
Denis Suarez was one of Barcelona's better players on Tuesday as they beat Sporting Club 2-0, setting up both the goals at Camp Nou.
The midfielder feels the club's back-up players have improved this season, which is one of the reason for the 22 game unbeaten run in all competitions.
"These game has enabled those that don't get as many minutes to feel important on the pitch," Denis told beIN after the game. "I think we played really well.
"Since the start of the season we have shown that the team is at a very high level. Those that haven't played as much have taken a step forward in regards to last season and it shows."
On the team's performances, Denis indicated that "I think the team's football is not as exciting as in other years, but it's difficult for teams to score against us."
As for the draw on Monday, Denis added: "We have won the group, we have the advantage of being at home second and I think it's the other teams that don't want us in the draw."
