Moussa Sissoko says no decision has been made yet as speculation increases
It's not normal for Ousmane Dembele's camp to speak out. In reality, they have said very little since he signed for Barcelona.
Now, his agent Moussa Sissoko has decided to break the ice and give his opinion on the talks surrounding the forward's future.
Barça sporting director Mateu Alemany was sceptical about the club's chances of keeping Dembele last weekend after months of talks with Sissoko.
The two men met again on Monday and now Sissoko has decided to talk.
In a statement sent to various media, including Sport, he he said: "Ousmane's future is still open and we're not going to enter into endless speculation.
"We are and have always been respectful with all clubs and will continue in the same way as the process continues. When the moment comes to make a decision, Ousmane will consider the best option for his future."
Paris Saint-Germain are monitoring the situation but recent reports suggest their new sporting director Luis Campos will pull out of the deal.
Chelsea, under new owners, have also been linked, while Barça's still hope he will renew.
