The winger is happy where he is and not thinking about leaving

Ousmane Dembélé was replaced by Xavi in the 84th minute against Real Sociedad. The Spotify Camp Nou stood up to applaud and acknowledge the Frenchman's impressive performance. He signed off one of his best displays in the Barça shirt.

It was not only praise for what was seen in the Copa del Rey tie, either, but unanimous applause for a player who, in silence, has been able to exchange jeers for the affection of the fans, a fact that even his coach highlighted in the subsequent press conference.

Ousmane has earned the trust of Barcelona fans with facts. On the pitch, where his game is becoming more mature every day, but also in the offices, confirming with his renewal last summer that his intention was to stay, something which very few believed at one point.

He signed a deal until 2024, a short-term contract that, again, he hopes won't be his last. His objective is to continue growing as a Barça player and to do so beyond the deadline of his current link. Dembélé is going through the best professional and personal spell in his career and he feels very satisfied with his life in Barcelona and the status he has achieved in the Barça squad.
