Dembélé misses training due to suffering from gastroenteritis
Whilst the French winger wasn't involved in the morning's session, Messi and Umtiti did train alongside their teammates
Fresh after the news that Philippe Coutinho would be spending time on the sidelines, Ousmane Dembele added his name to the missing list from this morning's training session. He's said to be suffering from a strong case of gastroenteritis.
The French winger, who started midweek against Inter Milan, couldn't train alongside his teammates this morning but is still expected to be available for Sunday's match against Real Betis. Ernesto Valverde might use Dembele to help offset the loss of Coutinho who won't be able until after the upcoming international break.
However there was some good news for FC Barcelona this morning. Lionel Messi and Samuel Umtiti training alongside their teammates, despite neither being given the green light to return to action yet, but both could be cleared to play this Sunday. With an international break coming up, it'll be interesting to see whether Valverde feels it is worth risking Messi or Umtiti against Betis.
There were three members of the youth side involved too: Chumi, Miranda and Riqui Puig.
