Barça have confirmed the player injured his hamstring on Saturday

The club have not yet revealed officially how long he will be out

Barcelona forward Ousmane Dembele could be out for two months, according to beIN Sports. The France international injured his hamstring just 25 minutes into his full La Liga debut against Getafe on Saturday.

The initial diagnosis was that he had a hamstring injury in his left leg, although Barça said they could only determine the extent of the problem with more tests on Sunday.

According to beIN, those tests have taken place and have confirmed that Dembele will be out of action for two months.

If confirmed, it's a big blow for the player and his manager, given that he was just beginning to adapt to his new life following a summer move from Borussia Dortmund.

It would rule Dembele out until Barça's games against Leganes (Nov. 18) and Juventus (Nov. 22).

Therefore, he would miss Champions League matches against Olympiakos and Sporting Club and seven league games, including trips to Atletico Madrid and Athletic Bilbao.
