He will sign for five seasons and cost €30 million plus a potential further €5 million in add ons

FC Barcelona and Nelson Semedo, the Benfica right back, have reached an agreement for the player to become Barça’s latest signing in the next few hours. Barça are now negotiating with Benfica to close the deal.
The player will sign for five seasons and the fee will be €30 million plus €5 million in add-ons. Other sources however put the fee at €35 million plus target-related payments.
FC Barcelona decided to move for Semedo after ruling out Hector Bellerín after Arsenal refused to sell the La Masia product. Nelson Semedo, 23, has been a Portuguese international since 2016 and has won the Portuguese league twice with Benfica.
